Overview

How would you survive in a post-apocalyptic world? The Survival Ready Contest is brought to you in partnership with AMC’s The Walking Dead, and any and all survival-themed projects are eligible. The show follows a group of survivors who band together to survive and adapt in a post-apocalyptic world filled with walkers and opposing groups, who are often more dangerous than the dead. Each person brings a unique skill set to the group.

To celebrate the return of The Walking Dead, Sundays at 9/8c on AMC, we’re calling on all outdoor enthusiasts, builders, survivalists, engineers, and leaders! Show us the top survival project or skill that you would bring to the table in a post-apocalyptic world for a chance to win the ultimate The Walking Dead prize package, GoalZero solar generator kits, water purifiers, and more!

Write an Instructable

Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Oct 3, 2016 and Nov 14, 2016 (11:59pm PT).

Accepting

Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.

Judging

A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
