If your walls have been looking a little bare lately and your wallet is about the same, the annual Emily Carr Student Art Sale is like a beacon of bright shining shopping light coming at you this November 25 – 27, 2016.

It’s known as the “legendary” Emily Carr student art sale for good reason. Over 100 up-and-coming local artists will be showcasing their original art, all available for purchase at reasonable prices. The show gives student artists a taste of what showing their art in a gallery setting is really like and gives you the chance to pick up a piece for $60 that might later be valued at $60,000! Hey, you never know!

Now in it’s 43rd year, the Emily Carr University of Art + Design Art Sale has blossomed into a hugely popular event that sees lineups and bustling crowds throughout the three days it’s held. If you really want to make a big score, you’ll have to line up on Friday with the rest of the keeners.

This is an especially notable year, as the 2016 sale will be the last at the Granville Island campus – 2017 will find the campus moving to the False Creek Flats area near Olympic Village.

Not only will you be able to get started on your holiday shopping (or adding to your Pinterest-perfect gallery wall), but you’ll be making a big impact on these artist’s who work hard each year to create unique, impressive, and interesting art.

The sale will be open from Friday, November 25 – Sunday, November 27 and is free entry. If you want to get the best deals, get there early! Doors will be open at the following times:
