it just looks like a bunch of mini optional games from other open world games

the most relaxing gaming ive had is skyrim casual RPGing and wingsuit in just cause 3

Looks completely unremarkable. And its Ubisoft. No thanks, this game is gonna bomb. 

Clip #1 will make any skier shudder. Steep errs on the side of ski/snowboard simulator, not a ski/snowboard arcade game. You're not supposed to just point straight down the hill with no turns and then expect to launch off a jump, pull a trick, and get incredible points. You need to make turns, set up your jumps, and execute realistic skill moves. These gameplay clips look like someone had no idea what they were doing.

This looks very much like a game I'd consider buying at $15.

I thought this was like an ssx game but no. Looks boring. Maybe it would be ok if it was a psvr exclusive

So does it come with the value meal, or do I have to pay the extra $3.99 like Sneak King?

Last snowboarding game I played was that SSX reboot. I enjoyed that but I would love to see a comeback of extreme sports games. I remember we used to have a lot off really awesome snowboarding/skating/bmx series.

Loved 1080 on N64 (anyone else remember that game?!!!), hoped this might scratch that itch with some extras thrown in.  Unfortunately, this is looking like it skews more toward "simulator" than I want from a winter sports game but maybe it'll still be cool.I'd really love an awesome backcountry snowmobiling game.  Along with the shared open world, give me some awesome physics for carving powder and hill climbing in a gorgeous (and huge) backcountry setting.  Add some sled modification and an addictive scoring and progression system and I'll play the crap out of it.  I know, never gonna happen...

Hahahaha In the last video the player crashes onto the rocks, can't get out so switched to the wingsuit and immediately faceplants again.  Needed that laugh today.

MNUplander haha yeah I played alot of 1080 on the N64...didnt really have a choice though I must admit.SSX...now thats a game I truly miss

Considering it's Ubisoft, I assume Steep is in reference to the astronomical price for a subpar product.

I_AM_EVAD MNUplander  SSX is cool too, but it was more arcade-ish - 1080 really nailed a good middle ground I thought...who knows, maybe just nostalgia because I haven't played it in about 20 years, lol.

I_AM_EVAD MNUplander The last one they put out was decent, but SSX Tricky was the pinnacle of snowboarding games. Definitely one of my favorite games on ps2.

Would love a highly technical snowboard game like skate. Set up wenches and what not. Dream game is Skate with bmx/ Mtb & snowboarding/ skiing

I commend Ubisoft for making a non muder based action game. Hopefully it's fun.

MNUplander A fantastic snowmobiling game on the PS2 was Sled Storm.  I played the crap out of that game it was so much fun.  Wouldn't mind another one sometime.  And yes of course I remember 1080 on the N64, Wave Race as well.  I would love to see the extreme sports come back to video games.  Start with Skate.  Also some more Fight Night would be great.
