Free View of the Skyline

No need to fight the crowds and pay to visit the Statue of Liberty when you can see the majestic Lady the way she is meant to be viewed, from the water. The Staten Island Ferry is open year around 24-hours a day and 7 days a week to transport people between Brooklyn to Staten Island. During the approximate 25-minute trip one way (or one hour round-trip), you will get the best views of the city skyline along with Lady Liberty and Ellis Island from a ferry that has become a New York City staple. Food and beer is sold on the ferry and is a relaxing way to grab a light meal or snack.
