I can't help it.  Every time I see or hear her voice, I think of Black Widow.  It ruins it for me totally. They should have cast someone else.

ComptonCrip 1) The major was born Japanese but after she almost died in a plain crush and turned into a cyborg she chose a very popular Caucasian droid body. You can see this in the anime series.2) Look at this movie's IMDB page, its full of minorities, not all Japanese. Its very diverse.3) Japanese live action adaptations of anime always do "Japanese washing". For instance in Attack on Titan", a series with lots of white charters, 100% of the cast is Japanese. Even cpt. Levi, a white Jew, was rewritten as a slightly different character that was played by a Japanese actor.

Reminds me how good the sub and dub were. Scarlet better bring that authoritative voice
