FATAL ERROR in

of Alarm Event for alarm 1
for object objFadeout:

Variable objFadeout.newID(100155, -2147483648) not set before reading it.
at gml_Object_objFadeout_ObjAlarm1_1 (line 7) - global.weapon = global.defaultWeapon.newID;

I was using the newest version of the engine just fine but after an update it seems to have stopped working entirely. I tested it on a fresh copy with the same results.

Working fine in 1773 and previous version.
