A police officer is under investigation after posting selfies while in uniform on a website for swingers.

PC Barry Dean, 36 sent one picture to a woman, with the message: 'Yes, I do have handcuffs.'

When he was asked if the pictures were bogus, he said proudly: 'I'm a real police officer' but added: 'no-one at work knows.'

The Sun said his profile - under the username Skyblue34 - disappeared from the site shortly after their reporter confronted him at his flat in Coventry.

On his profile it said he wanted 'no-strings fun' with woman or couples.

His profile on fabswingers.com also contained several complimentary reviews, including one from a woman who congratulated him on a 'leg shaking' experience.

Dean posed naked or in underwear in some pictures and in others he is wearing a full uniform, including a radio and name badge.

The Sun said Dean told them: 'I've done nothing illegal. I've just been daft. I'm going to be in a lot of trouble with work and my family.'

One member on fabswingers.com said: 'This guy is clearly abusing his position as a police officer.'

West Midlands Police said: 'We have seen the material and PC Dean has been informed an investigation has been launched by our Professional Standards Department.'
