TV Article What to Watch Wednesday: Rectify's final season Plus: Geeeeeear! PICK OF THE NIGHT Rectify SundanceTV, 10 p.m. Daniel (Aden Young) is technically free, but that doesn’t mean life from here on out is going to be easy. The gentle Georgia native has to start over in Nashville, where he continues to grapple with whether he’s guilty or innocent of the crime for which he spent 19 years on death row. There’s still plenty to rectify in this slow-burning drama’s final season. SERIES DEBUT Jon Glaser Loves Gear TruTV, 10 p.m. Jon Glaser is best known as Councilman Jamm from Parks and Rec, but he’s made alt-comedy gold for years. (See: Adult Swim’s Delocated.) His latest is a concept-y parody show: Glaser plays the host of an outdoorsy docuseries about gadgets that goes hilariously off the rails. It’s basically like Comedy Central’s excellent Review — the fourth wall falls as Glaser’s personal issues and emotions get in the way of the show’s production. Bonus: Glaser yells “Geeeeeaaaarrrr!” a whole lot. PURGE NIGHT black-ish ABC, 9:30 p.m. Things get out of hand when the neighborhood agrees to a Purge-like “mischief night” for the Halloween season, with petty crimes becoming legal for one evening only. Scary!
