China conducted the maiden flight of the J-20 in January 2011 and has produced 10 prototypes. The spokesman for the People's Liberation Army Air Force, Senior Colonel Shen Jinke, announced details of the show at a news conference on Friday. Shen said the J-20 was designed for future aerial combat and is expected to further boost the fighting capacity of the Chinese Air Force. The six-day event is set to feature some of the best equipment the PLA and state-owned defense giants have to offer.
