Kuwaiti oil barrel up 13 cents at USD 46.87

KUWAIT, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel rose 13 cents reaching USD 46.87 on Tuesday, compared to USD 46.74 per barrel on Monday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Wednesday.
Meanwhile in international markets, oil prices went up yesterday with expectations that OPEC would limit production rate to create balance between offer and demand, despite expectations on a rise in US crude reserves.
Brent crude oil rose 16 cents upon settlement to reach USD 51.68, while West Texas crude went up 35 cents reaching USD 50.29 pb.(end) osj.ag
