Logos 7.9 Beta 3 Mac OS 10.12.6
Opened Logos to a blank layout—My default. Clicked toolbar shortcut to open my devotional layout. The pizza spun for a few seconds, then Logos was replaced by the Apple Crash Dialog

Restarted to a blank layout. Clicked the same toolbar shortcut. Logos simply disappeared

Tried a couple of other layouts from toolbar shortcuts. They both opened properly. Tried the original devotional layout. This time it opened properly.

Restart to blank layout then click shortcut for courses layout. Layout populated successfully.
And Again. This time with the Ephesians layout active. Opened the Courses tool. Clicked on course in progress—Ephesians by Lynn Cohick. Once again, Logos was replaced by the Apple Crash notice.

Please note that the four crashes reported in this thread were opening two different layouts—and coming from different layouts.

It's been 2 weeks, but the crash happened again this morning. After opening Logos for the first time this morning, clicked toolbar shortcut for my Devotional layout. Then, went to Mail to check there while the layout was opening. Was interrupted by an Apple Crash dialog.
