Today Ninja Theory announced via press release that its upcoming game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will support PS4 Pro.

Players on Sony Interactive Entertainment's beefed-up console will be able to choose between "enhanced resolution" or a higher frame rate targeting 60 frames per second.

There are also news for fans on PC, as your gaming rig will be able to run (if it has the necessary juice) Ninja Theory's labor of love with a fully uncapped frame rate and resolutions up to 4K. If your monitor supports it, the game also supports 21:9 ultra widescreen aspect ratio.

It's certainly always nice to see developers doing their best to appease both the pixel counters who prefer higher fidelity, and the frame rate nerds that would rather play even Tetris at 60 FPS, for that silky smooth block dropping.

Earlier today, Ninja Theory also released a brand new trailer, and if you want to see and learn more, you can also enjoy the announcement of the game’s photo modeanother recent trailer, and the PC requirements in case you prefer to play Senua’s adventures on your gaming ring.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is getting close, and it will release on August 8th for PS4 and PC.
