Libraries In Pasadena, Deer Park Offering Help With FEMA Forms

Staff at all branches are helping with disaster assistance forms, as well as library services.

PASADENA, TX β€” Libraries in Pasadena and Deer Park are helping victims of Hurricane Harvey by providing assistance with filing disaster relief claims.

The libraries, which sustained minimal damage from the hurricane, opened on Sept. 5.

The Pasadena libraries are located at: 1201 Jeff Ginn, and the Fairmont branch at 4330 Fairmont Parkway, while the Deer Park Public Library is located at 3009 Center.

Aside from services, anyone who has overdue books can bring those into the library and will not be charged a fee, the Houston Chronicle reported.

If the books are damaged as a result of the flooding, library officials are asking the books to be brought in and not dropped in the book drop box.
