Prophet docked for abducting 3 girls, keeping them as sex slaves
A man of God has been remanded in prison in Benue State for allegedly abducting three girls and keeping them as his sex slaves.
News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN), reports that the 32-year-old Ebimone, was docked on a two-count charge of abduction and causing miscarriage, offenses punishable under Sections 274 and 233 of the Penal Code, Laws of Benue State, 2004.
The prosecutor in the case, Inspector Daniel Suende,had told the court that a team of detectives led by one Inspector Attai Sule attached to the State CID, Makurdi, received information about the activities of the cleric on October 20, 2016, and after a discrete investigation, he was arrested.
Inspector Suende said that Ebimone, who claimed to be a prophet, had been abducting young girls and using them as sex slaves.
He added that the cleric went to Delta in June and abducted the trio of Victory Mieturda, Dolor Dinah and Esther Young and brought them to Makurdi where he kept them and had unlawful carnal knowledge of them severally.
The prosecutor added that Ebimone had impregnated all the girls at different times and also caused them to miscarry the pregnancies.
After hearing the evidence against the accused, the Magistrate, Mrs. Theresa Wergba, ordered that he should be remanded in prison while adjourning the matter till December 28, 2016, for further mention.
