QAMISHLO, Syrian Kurdistan,— A bomb attack in the main Kurdish city of Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan (Rojava) on Monday, kills one person and seriously injured two others, local media reported.

A bomb attack carried out with a motorbike near the industry zone in Sherqi neighborhood of  Qamishlo left one civilian dead, two others wounded, Firat news reported.

A bomb has exploded near a convoy of the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Qamishlo, Basnews reported.

According to the source an eyewitness said that the attack targeted a convoy of YPG fighters passing by the industrial area in eastern Qamishlo.

The Kurdish security (Asayish) forces have taken security measures and started an examination at the scene.
