Like everyone says, the instructions aren't great at all, however, with there only being four screws and a bolt, it's extremely easy to assemble from looking at the diagram. It's easy enough for the mechanically impaired like me.
It fits perfectly in the corner of my living room so I don't even have to take my bike off of it. I actually just hopped off my bike after my first use. I rode for about 40 minutes and in that time this trainer seems to do the trick. It's very sturdy, seems well balanced, and didn't wobble at all. The screw in the back is easy to turn to get different resistance on your wheel. I was definitely feeling the burn. Also like a couple of reviews mentioned, it is a little noisy. When I was pedaling fast and hard, it sounded like a shop-vac, so it isn't terribly loud when pedaling at a normal pace. I just turned the TV up a little more.
Even though I've only used it once so far, I believe this will end up being a very reliable product for the price. I just wanted a cheap, quality product and this seems to be it. I recommend this trainer to the average biker like me who wants a cheap indoor workout when the weather isn't great.
You may need to purchase a steel skewer if you don't already have one but they're under $10.
Some skewers are plastic on one end and plastic ends aren't as safe for locking the bike into place.
I'm shocked at how quiet this trainer is, it really doesn't make much more noise than the bike.
A serious rider may want adjustable resistance but I can increase the difficulty with my gears, not
sure why most people would need to spend more.
Excellent trainer.
