Mark Wahlberg's Boston Marathon Movie Already Has Us in Tears

The first full-length trailer for Patriots Day is here, and we already have chills. Based on the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, the film centers on police sergeant Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg) in the events leading up to and following the devastating attack. As investigators attempt to track down the bombers, the clip showcases the powerful story of a community coming together in the midst of chaos. The movie also stars Michelle Monaghan, J.K. Simmons, John Goodman, and Kevin Bacon and is scheduled for a limited release on Dec. 21 and a wide release on Jan. 13, 2017.
