Exotic Weapons

Exotic Weapons are extremely rare arms found in Destiny. They can be purchased from Xur's location or found in various locations throughout the game.

House of Wolves Weapons Updates

In addition to the new weapons that will be introduced in the House of Wolves expansion, Guardians will now be able to Ascend and Reforge their weapons.

Reforge will allow players to rebuild their weapons from the ground up, resetting the perks of each gun at random. This also resets the upgrades of each weapon, but the tradeoff of preferred buffs will be well worth it.

Ascend is a new upgrade that will allow Guardians to automatically upgrade their gear to the highest possible level. It will be costly, but a sure time-saver when compared to the previous method of farming upgrade materials and visiting Xur.

Exotic Primary Weapons

These exotic weapons will fill the Primary Weapon slot in your inventory - they include Assault Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons and Scout Rifles.
