Welcome!
Our research focuses on understanding interactions between atmospheric particles (i.e., aerosols), trace gases, oceans, land ecosystems, and clouds. These interactions are important for understanding the impact of aerosol particles on ecosystem health, air quality, and climate. We use field-deployable instrumentation to measure aerosols and trace gases in the laboratory and field. We lead research efforts at the Barbados Atmospheric Chemistry Observatory (BACO) that has been used to understand the role of African dust in air quality and climate for over 50 years.
