Harry Potter fans with a spare £2.4 million can now bag themselves an impressive piece of film history. The house that appeared in the Potter movies as the childhood home of Hermione Granger (and her pet Crookshanks), is now up for sale in London.

That's right, ANOTHER Harry Potter home has gone on the market. Last week we were lusting after the Dursleys' 4 Privet Drive, which is actually in Bracknell, Berkshire, rather than Little Winging, Surrey. This week it's all about the north London home of the booksmart Hogwarts student and her muggle parents.

At £2.4 million, Hermione's abode is a little pricer than Privet Drive. But it's a six bedroom, detached period property in the fancy Hampstead Garden area so we'd expect no less, with or without its magical connection.

Arlington Residential

'Offered for sale for the first time in almost sixty years this detached house in one of the finest roads in Hampstead Garden Suburb. This 2490 sq ft three storey home with many original features is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac just a few metres from the entrance to the Heath Extension and its rolling meadows and woodland,' writes the property's estate agent, adding: 'Sharp eyed film fans may recognise the house as the home of Hermione in the "Harry Potter" series.'

The property appeared in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1', when Hermione altered her parent's memories to keep them safe from the Death Eaters.

So, back to Gringotts, eh?
