(San Leandro, CA) – ‘Tis the season to fall in love with beer all over again and 21st Amendment Brewery’s newest variety pack is here to inspire. After all, what do you get when an India Pale Ale, an imperial IPA, a Mexican lager and a spiced ale walk into a fridge? Answer: the ultimate autumn craft-beer collection.

“Fall is a time when you’re not really sure what kind of weather you’re going to face and our variety pack will take the guessing game out of what beer you’ll be in the mood for,” says Co-founder Nico Freccia. “If the sun decides to make a guest appearance, our Mexican lager El Sully has you covered. If the temperature takes a sudden drop, our Fireside Chat spiced ale will warm you up with it’s rich malt flavor, soft spicing and cocoa notes from the addition of TCHO chocolate nibs. There’s a brew for every outcome.”
In addition to El Sully, a Mexican-style lager brewed with Pilsner and Vienna malts and flaked maize and Fireside Chat, Blah Blah Blah an Imperial IPA has snuck into this year’s round-up. Having made its first appearance for a brief time this past summer, Blah Blah Blah is a fleeting glimpse of greatness that is so elusive, it can only be available at this time in a variety pack.
“We love our hops like everyone else, but we also like to have fun with our beers,” says co-founder Nico Freccia. “There are over 4,200 breweries, and counting, in America and it seems like all of them are making an IPA if not several. There are West Coast IPAs, Session IPAs, Black IPAs, Grapefruit IPAs, Blah Blah Blah (you get the idea).”
“Blah Blah Blah imperial IPA is a tongue-in-cheek commentary on the popularity of the IPA style and all its sub-styles that have become part of craft beer conversations and offerings,” adds co-founder Shaun O’Sullivan. “We brewed with malts that we haven’t played with before, and in addition to that we late hopped the kettle giving the beer explosive hop flavor and aroma. It’s jam packed with Mosaic, Citra and the latest Idaho 7 hop, and at 2 pounds per barrel of dry-hops (that’s a lot of hops folks!) the aroma is amazing.”
Rounding out the pack is 21st Amendment’s flagship Brew Free! Or Die IPA, which is perhaps the brewery’s greatest illustration of its belief that a big, balanced, hoppy beer can come in a can. With a brew for everyone, the 12-pack variety ‘fridge’ is the perfect accessory to kickoff fall tailgating.
