Since acquiring Tidal, Jay Z has kept his discography at arm’s length from major competitors Spotify and Apple Music, reserving select albums for his own service. Back in March, it emerged that his Blueprint album series and Reasonable Doubt had gone missing from Apple Music, iTunes, and Amazon’s digital music store. Now, The Blueprint volumes 1, 2, and 2.1 are back on Apple Music, as Complex points out. (Reasonable Doubt is on UK Spotify and Apple Music, and Jay’s albums remain available on Pandora.) As yet, there’s no timeline on the full discography’s return to streaming services besides Tidal. Pitchfork has contacted representatives for Apple Music and Spotify for comment.
