When Is The End Of The World?
Matthew 24 (KJV) 24 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The word Nations in Greek is “ethlos” refers to ethic group’s means special grouping. Means grouping of pupils who have a common language, belief systems and commitment to idea. People who are committed to a single common ideal.
The Christ say he will not come until the message good news of Kingdom of Heaven has entered in every single nation.
The end of the world depends on all human preaching the Kingdom of Heaven, this conclude that the end of world depends and controlled by Gods people (church). When Jesus is convinced that the entire world has received or heard the message of the kingdom of heaven this include all religious people then he will come. Which mean that the end of the world depends on you.
Let check other close reference; Jesus was asked about the question of end time 3 times by the disciples. The second time answered the question in a strange way; the end of world will be like the days of NOAH. Then he explained the days of Noah they were eating, drinking and marring and the Lord spoke to Noah and told him to build an ark. After 120 year Noah finished the ark, Jesus says when the ark was finished the doors were shut and the rain began. Then Jesus says so will it be at the end of the age.
Let understand what Jesus meant; in the days of Noah, God had a problem with the planet and he wanted to consumerist something, so he went to Noah to have permission to intervene on earth. He needed a human being to cooperate and work with him on this situation was Noah. He ask Noah to go and tell the whole world that he going to destroy the earth with water and whoever believe him and enter the ark that Noah was building will be saved.
The Noah message was to go and tell the world and warm them that the danger is coming, if they believe Noah and obey him and enter the big boat then they will be saved and God will destroy the world with water.
Noah obeyed God, so Noah began to build the ark. And when he was building it the same time he told the people about the message from God had told him to spread (rain and the flood is coming).
The Rain was in God control but when it comes was in Noah control. God says Noah when you finish the ark and the door is shut the rain will start. The rain was ready from the first day God give assignment to Noah, waiting for Noah to finish the ark. But the rain had to wait until Noah was finished. Whatever time Noah could have finish the ark and shut the door the rain would have come, which mean the rain was waiting for Noah assignment. As soon Noah shut the ark door the rain immediately started.
Jesus said the end will come, because the end is waiting for our assignment which is to spread the message of the Kingdom of Heaven. Which mean Jesus will return but he is waiting for the church to complete the assignment.
Acts 1:5-9(KJV) 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. 6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
The hour when the Kingdom was support to be establish no one knows only the Father, but the time we know. The time is when the gospel message of the Kingdom of heaven will be preached entire world.
At the age 30 when Jesus began to preach Matthew 4:17(KJV) 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
