Daniel Hughes, of the Grosse Pointe Farms Foundation, told the Grosse Pointe Times the event draws between 500 and 600 people and about 90 cars. Officials say residents of the Pointes have a number of exceptional vintage vehicles and the Concours d’Elegance provides a great opportunity for them to showcase them, while at the same time raising awareness to the work of the Grosse Pointe Farms Foundation.

The group’s projects have included the addition of ornamental street signs, a refrigerated ice rink at Pier Park, and various park improvements.
