Samsung Malaysia Electronics says it will replace Galaxy Note 7 smartphones over the coming weeks in response to reports of the Note 7 catching fire while being charged.

The Note 7 has yet to go on sale in Malaysia but 4,000 units were grabbed up via pre-order sales online and limited sales via telcos.
