MarsTV Dota 2 League returns with a LAN event
The MarsTV Dota 2 League Autumn is split into three stages: the Chinese qualifiers, LAN group stage, and LAN elimination. The Chinese qualifiers started today, September 19, and will be followed by the LAN group stages on the 28th, and the LAN elimination on the 30th through the 2nd of October. The LAN event for stage three will be hosted in Xiamen, China, at the Xiamen Exhibition Center.
eSports scholarships: Top priority with the National Association of Collegiate eSports launch
The National Association of Collegiate eSports was officially launched in the United States of America with the main purpose of legitimizing eSports on the institutional level.
Membership in National Association of Collegiate eSports is tax free but to qualify for NAC eSports membership, institutions must be fully accredited by an authorized higher educational accrediting agency relative to their region and national affiliation. Additionally, programs must be officially endorsed by the school that they represent. Membership application form can be found here.
DreamLeague Season 6 is almost here
After the resounding success that past editions had, DreamLeague is excited to announce DreamLeague Season 6 that will start on 11th October with total prize pool of $231,000. Eight teams will battle it out for one of the 4 spots in the LAN playoffs at DreamHack Winter on the 25th of November. The tournament will play out in two parts: The League and The Playoffs.
The 2016 Fall Shuffle has closed. All the teams had time until September 18th to lock in the new rosters and they have to remain with their choices until after the Fall Major. Here we have collected all the important updates regarding the roster changes.
