Top weekly Workshop submissions

Even though the Warhammer contest just came to an end last week, workshoppers didn't take a break, submitting new sets for the Dota 2 Workshop.

How many of you have spammed a hero just because you got or bought a set that you liked? Show the artists a little appreciation for their work because behind every item you have, there were people who spent hours or even weeks so you can enjoy your game even more. Remember that your feedback will help them understand what changes to make or just help to congratulate for their work.

Lina, Night Stalker, Elder Titan, Tinker, Abaddon and Necrophos got the workshoppers` attention this week who came up with new ideas, designed to satisfy every desire that players have. Since there are 11 million players, each with different tastes, creators rely on the number of people who want to customize their hero liking to make the interface more friendly.

Endless Nightmare

Night Stalker, the hero with only one set accepted on the Steam market, has received a lot of attention lately in the hopes Valve will accept at least one of the submitted sets. Full of details and seemingly caught in a perfect armor welded to the body kit, it makes you think of a nocturnal animal genre films. The combination of colours chosen is perfect as it comes in hero's lore, the Night Terror of Evil's embodiment.

All spiky and creepy, this is by far one of the best sets waiting to be evaluated and accepted on the market.

Sun Blessed Hair

Drawn from stories, I was curious to find more about this set so i asked Toasty, the workshopper that designed this beauty for more details.

D: What inspired you to create this set? What is the idea behind this beautiful lady?

T: I was always very fond of the Arabian 1000 night's stories as a child. I was looking to draw inspiration from those stories mixing it with a little bit of "Sun Priestess".

D: I loved the idea of an open belly, haven't saw it before. What did you have in mind when you designed it like this?

T: Um... trying to avoid talking about the open belly, haha. It's an area of contention with various fans. My hope was to create something beautiful, not sexy. Trying to find that balance of a free spirit in the sun and revealing too much skin was very hard to find. I often showed screenshots of the set to my female friends to make sure I wasn't crossing the line into overt sexiness. Sometimes you just have to take a risk to make something a bit more interesting and unique

Titan bracer stone power

From his first appearance, Elder Titan gives the impression of a mythical Aztec deity as revenge god or a god of ancient pagan civilizations. The colors and texture that has been used gives you the feeling that Titan was raised from the depths of an Aztec temple, and he used pieces from the fallen temple to build a brilliant, strong armor.
