DreamLeague Season 6 is almost here

DreamLeague is back with ASUS ROG for season six, with LAN finals at DreamHack Winter.

After the resounding success that past editions had, DreamLeague is excited to announce DreamLeague Season 6 that will start on 11th October with total prize pool of $231,000. Eight teams will battle it out for one of the 4 spots in the LAN playoffs at DreamHack Winter on the 25th of November. The tournament will play out in two parts: The League and The Playoffs.

With DreamHack increasing its focus on Dota 2 and once again organizing the playoffs at DreamHack Winter in front of a huge live audience – we hope that the 6th season of ASUS ROG DreamLeague will be the most exciting installment so far. The League

The first phase of the tournament where each team will earn $1,000 for each game won.

Period: 11 October - TBA

Teams: 8 teams will face each other for one of the four spots in the playoffs

Format: Round Robin – best of two – where teams will earn one point / game

Prize pool: $56,000 

In addition, the tournament will be streamed from the Monster Energy DreamHack Studio.

The Playoffs

The second phase of the tournament. The four qualified teams from the League will play in Jönköping, Sweden, at DreamHack Winter.

Period: 25 – 26 November

Format: Double Elimination best of three bracket and grand finals BO5

Prize pool distribution: 1st - $80,000, 2nd - $45,000, 3rd - $30,000

In addition, all teams that manage to earn a spot in the playoffs will have full travel support.
