Stranger Things and Twin Peaks share several similarities, and now the shows are sharing a theme song.
The Seattle-based group Prom Queen has created the haunting track “Stranger Peaks,” a mash-up of the theme songs for the two shows, that is every bit as eerie as you might imagine.
Despite being made 25 years apart, the shows resemble each other, both featuring strange mysteries in small towns and lawmen searching for the truth. The Duffer Brothers, who created Stranger Things, have even cited Twin Peaks co-creator David Lynch as a big influence on their work.
Stranger Things will return to Netflix for season 2 in 2017, while Twin Peaks will also be back in 2017 as it is being resurrected on Showtime.
