The shamed teacher struck off after a prom night fling with a pupil shared a ‘passionate’ kiss with the 17-year-old as she headed home, it has emerged.

Shona Wilkie, who was formerly known as Isabelle Graham, claimed her drink had been spiked and she had no recollection of sleeping with the boy at an Edinburgh Travelodge following the prom in June 2014.

But it has now emerged that the devout Christian, who was struck off last week, was caught on CCTV giving the boy a 30-second goodbye kiss in the early hours of the morning.

The official report into the case, published yesterday, casts new doubt on the 27-year-old’s version of events.

According to the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) document, the French teacher ‘did not appear heavily intoxicated’ as she turned to kiss the boy, known only as Pupil A.

The GTCS report disclosed Mrs Wilkie discussed the subject of inappropriate conduct toward pupils with a colleague at Whitburn Academy, West Lothian, on the Thursday before the prom.

It also revealed Pupil A had tweeted before the event about his intention to have sexual contact with a teacher.

Mrs Wilkie was barred last week after a GTCS hearing in Edinburgh found she had repeatedly ‘engaged in sexual activity’ with Pupil A, after giving him alcohol and sharing a bed with him.

The report provided new details about what happened afterwards.

It quoted Detective Sergeant Keith Mailer, who was involved in the police investigation into Mrs Wilkie’s conduct: ‘When the respondent left the Travelodge at approximately 4.30am, she and Pupil A walked to the lift area and the respondent did not appear heavily intoxicated. She was not stumbling.

‘The respondent reached the door as if to open it, paused, turned to face Pupil A and they kissed for about 30 seconds.’

Mr Mailer described the kiss as ‘passionate’.

Mrs Wilkie, who now lives in Aldershot, Hampshire, went to hospital the following day, said the report.

She told staff she had no recollection of events between 10pm and 5am and was worried her drink had been spiked.

But Mr Mailer judged from the CCTV footage: ‘Where the respondent and Pupil A were seen together, they seemed happy in each other’s company.

'They appeared, from their presentation, to be people who were intimate with each other.’

The report also contained evidence from a school colleague, which read: ‘The colleague mentioned a conversation she had with the respondent on the Thursday before the prom.

‘It was a conversation about inappropriate behaviour with students; the respondent had spoken about the consequences of such behaviour, even if untrue.’

The report revealed Pupil A intended to ‘fondle’ a teacher at the prom. He tweeted he was ‘gonny get so jaked at prom’ and ‘try to fondle’ a teacher.

The report confirmed the procurator fiscal declined to bring the case to court, citing a lack of ‘corroborating evidence’.

It also revealed Mrs Wilkie has been prevented from reapplying to be a teacher for two years.

She resigned after the allegations were made but said this was not an admission of guilt.

Mrs Wilkie, who recently had a baby with her 27-year-old husband Andrew, whom she married last year, did not appear at the hearing despite being offered a video link interview.

But she has said that if a photograph taken on the night of a woman in bed with the pupil did feature her, she was clearly unconscious and therefore it was ‘posed’ without her consent.

She described herself as ‘a victim’ and claimed she was ‘a practising Christian waiting until marriage’ before having sex.
