Hutch gang members have been warned that their whole family will be wiped out if they seek a revenge attack on the Kinahan cartel, it has emerged.
Three of the ten people killed in the bloody gangland feud were members of the Hutch family - Gary Hutch, Eddie Hutch Snr and Gareth Hutch.
It is understood young people in the Hutch gang are seeking a revenge attack on the Kinahan cartel for the deaths, but they've been warned what will happen if they pull off such an attack.
A source told The Irish Daily Star: "If they do anything, the Kinahans won't leave a single Hutch alive.
"They would kill every single Hutch. Nobody of any age or gender would be safe.
"The Kinahans have let it be known they will wipe them all out."
Last week an attempt was made on the life of Johnny Hutch - a brother of Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch.
The incident took place at Drumalee Park, North Circular Road, Dublin at around 5.25pm on Friday evening when he was approached by a man with a firearm. Johnny, however, escaped unharmed.
Garda checkpoints near the homes of Hutch family members have been upgraded to prevent further gangland bloodshed following the attack.
A crack team arrived at the scene of the botched shooting on Johnny last Friday within minutes of a Kinahan hitman spraying bullets in broad daylight.
Since the latest incident, gardai intend to up the number of armed officers in the vicinity of further likely targets in a bid to stop the murders.
