Rihanna arrives at Madison Square Garden for last minute rehearsals for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Saturday afternoon (August 27) in New York City.

The 28-year-old singer will be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award during the show and she will open the night with a performance that is sure to be amazing!

Rihanna posted a teaser video clip on her Twitter account to warn her fans to tune in at the start of the show to see her perform.

Joe Jonas walks with a few friends on Thursday morning (August 25) in New York City.

The 27-year-old DNCE singer headed out to breakfast with his pals just a few days ahead of the 2016 MTV VMAs this weekend.

“Make your voices heard! Vote @dnce for Best New Artist at the @mtv #vmas. #IMWITHTHEM,” Joe‘s brother Nick shared on Twitter, making a parody election video so fans would vote for DNCE.

There will be a ton of stars at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night and now we know where a bunch of them will be sitting!

The seating chart has been set for the awards show, set to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, who will be performing together, will also be sitting next to each other at the show.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will of course be side by side and Britney Spears will be seated in front of her “Make Me” collaborator G-Eazy.

Taylor Swift will not be attending the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards this weekend, despite some reports.

The 26-year-old singer is not nominated for any awards this year as the bulk of the singles from her latest album 1989 were eligible at last year’s show.

“Taylor was never scheduled to attend the VMAs,” an insider told People.

Taylor has been rumored to be making an appearance alongside Kanye West to squash any of their differences once and for all. If the surprise moment does happen, it will be one of the most talked about things of the night for sure!
