Luckily, in addition to all the photos + details below, we’ve got you covered with a tropical-boho shopping guide filled with lots of fun elements to help you recreate this look, be it for your wedding, a summer party, a bridal shower, or any event!

But before we go, we have some words from the bride about how she + her fella made their day so unique, Our wedding day was incredible – every bit of effort and work we put into it was completely worth it, and it was amazing to see all the details come together. The historic adobe style venue we chose was our biggest inspiration for the wedding. Since it’s located in Southern California where we grew up, we wanted it to be an eclectic bohemian mix, with both southwestern and tropical elements.

We’re also loving the gorge, neutral dresses the ladies changed into. Such a perfect match for their tropical bouquets + flower crowns by The Dainty Lion Floral Co.!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

It was really important to me to create an event that was centered around the love and story that Elliot and I have. I wanted everyone to walk away feeling like they had been a part of a loving experience, more than just being guests.

My favorite part of the wedding day was our ceremony. We each wrote personal vows, and inscribed them in small keepsake books from BHLDN. It really made the ceremony special and intimate, and set a tone of love and celebration for the rest of the evening. The best moment, however, was when our pastor pronounced us husband and wife – the sun came out from behind the clouds at the exact moment we were married. It goes to show that no matter how much planning you do, your wedding day can still be filled with unexpected magical moments.

Elliot and my dad spent weekends working on projects, including constructing a 7 foot tall escort card display. A laser cut “Find Your Seat” sign directed guests, and we filled the shelves with “his & hers” favors – Voluspa candles and bottled matches from Anthropologie.

To close, we’re sharing E + E’s most fave design vignette of the entire day: We absolutely loved our sweetheart table and backdrop. We alternated gold-painted pineapples and cactus in macrame plant hangers, and hung them against a woven macrame-style blanket. It was so much fun to see the design come together in real life! I loved how vibrant it was, and how it brought together the tropical and desert vibe I wanted.

Big congrats you two!! Sending our best to you both! ♥
