Members of NSYNC and Backstreet Boys are among those expressing mixed emotions following the passing of their former disgraced manager.

AceShowbiz - Lou Pearlman, former manager of NSYNC and Backstreet Boys, passed away on Friday, August 19 while serving out a 25-year prison sentence in Miami. Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass are among those expressing mixed emotions following their former disgraced manager's death.

The "Can't Stop the Feeling" crooner tweets, "I hope he found some peace. God bless and RIP, Lou Pearlman." Lance, meanwhile, posts, "Word is that #LouPearlman has passed away. He might not have been a stand up businessman, but I wouldn't be doing what I love today wout his influence. RIP Lou."

Fellow NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick, Backstreet Boys' member AJ McLean, Aaron Carter and former O-Town member Ashley Angel Parker also pay tribute to Lou on Twitter.

Chris writes, "Mixed emotions right now, but RIP Lou Pearlman." AJ posts, "Many emotions at the news of Lou's passing. Without Lou I wouldn't have met my four brothers or had the opportunity of a lifetime. RIP." Aaron shares, "#LouPearlman my old manager died in prison... Rip Lou not the best business guy really at all but he did discover me karma is real."

Ashley, meanwhile, posts a throwback photo of Lou and O-Town along with caption, "Love him or hate him, Lou gave many of us our start. It's a shame he let greed get in his way. #RIP #LouPearlman."

Lou was convicted of running a half-billion-dollar Ponzi scheme in 2008 and sentenced to 25 years in prison. The 62-year-old former record producer suffered a stroke in 2010 while incarcerated. Since then, his health continued to deteriorate. He passed away while still in custody at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas.
