Michael Soskil was a top-10 finalist for this year’s Global Teacher Prize, widely considered the Nobel Prize of Teaching, for the innovative ways he empowers his students to use learning to solve problems around the globe. He was a 2012 winner of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching, and currently teaches elementary science in northeastern Pennsylvania.
