"The Late Late Show" host James Corden has made a name for himself in late night and beyond thanks to his hit viral segment Carpool Karaoke, which has attracted an impressive lineup of superstars since its launch. The likes of Mariah Carey, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Gwen Stefani, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Elton John, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Carrie Underwood, One Direction, Jennifer Lopez, and even First Lady Michelle Obama have all taken a turn in Corden's passenger seat, belting out their hits (or in FLOTUS's case, some of their favorite tunes) alongside the late night host. And Corden's latest Carpool coup is just as impressive.

CBS announced on Thursday during the Television Critics Association summer press tour that none other than Britney Spears would be next in line to take a spin with Corden, in an appearance slated to run on August 25. While that timing coincides with the release of Spears's latest album, Glory, on August 26, we expect to hear mostly her older, more iconic fare in her segment. The lineup hasn't been revealed yet, but we're guessing "...Baby, One More Time," "Oops!... I Did it Again," and "Toxic" will all probably make the cut.

Spears took to social media to tease her appearance, tweeting out a photo of herself alongside an astonished-looking Corden.

We certainly share the stars' enthusiasm. We'll definitely be tuning in on the 25th.
