MIAA: 11 flights diverted to Clark due to bad weather


Eleven flights were diverted to the Clark International Airport due to bad weather as of late Friday.

Earlier,  the Manila International Airport Authority diverted to Clark five domestic flights due to bad  weather brought about by Typhoon Dindo.

But the number of diverted flights rose to 11 as of 8 p.m. Friday, a GMA News report said.

The 11 affected flights include:

Turkish Airliness

In its  5 a.m. update on Saturday, weather bureau PAGASA said Metro Manila and neighboring provinces will be rainy the whole day.

Also, it said the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Palawan will experience rains due to Typhoon Dindo (international Lionrock) and the enhanced southwest monsoon or Habagat. — LBG, GMA News
