Pokemon players from over 35 countries competed over the weekend in San Francisco, for a combined prize pool of over $500,000.
The trophies each feature Pikachu holding a gold, silver or bronze depiction of a trophy - click right to see all the photos:After three days of competition, eight winners were announced, from three different divisions - Masters (born in 2000 or earlier), Seniors (born in 2001-2004) and Juniors (born in 2005 or later). This was the first year that Pokken Tournament appeared at the World Championships, and it did not have a Juniors division.
