Report: Barcelona, Paco Alcácer agree personal deal; Valencia remain reluctant to sell

This surely is complicated

The Paco Alcácer Saga is really complicated.

A new report from Mundo Deportivo says that Barcelona and the Spanish international striker have agreed a personal deal for a five-year contract. The wages have been agreed and Alcácer is more than willing to join, having accepted a backup role to the 'MSN' trio. Now he's just waiting for a response from Valencia.

And that's where things get compicated. Valencia officials disagree on the transfer, with owner Peter Lim wanting to sell and the rest of the board not wanting to lose another important player to Barcelona in this transfer window. Lim has accepted Barça's €30 million + Munir + Samper offer, but the fans and the rest of the board are ready to (figuratively speaking) eat him alive in case the transfer goes through.

There are eight days left on the window, and the Catalans want to close the deal before Sunday's La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao. Barça want it to happen, Paco wants it to happen, Peter Lim wants it to happen, the board and the fans don't want it to happen. This thing is starting to get annoying. Just get it done or give up, Robert.
