DAY6 debuted on September 7, 2015 under the management of JYP Entertainment and its sub-label STUDIOJ. The band consists of five members: Sungjin (main vocals/acoustic guitar/leader), Jae (vocals/guitar), Young K (vocals/rap/bass), Wonpil (vocals/synth) and Dowoon (drums/maknae).
Their sound has been described as pop-rock, with a wide range of musical interests from the members. They officially debuted with the title track Congratulations from their first mini album The Day.
Throughout their debut, DAY6 has been constantly covering songs of other artists on radio shows, concerts and fanmeets. You can check all their covers HERE.
