Research on the application of Masson-PASM dyeing method in renal biopsy

Abstract: Objective To investigate the application value of Masson- PASM staining method in renal biopsy. Methods 208 cases of renal biopsy tissues were collected and stained by Masson staining,PASM staining,Masson- PASM dyeing respectively,and observed under microscope. Results The colour of glomerular immune complexes was red showed in Masson staining;the colour PASM staining showed in glomerular basement membrane,renal capillary basement membrane and reticular fibers was black. The colors Masson- PASM dyeing can both showed in glomerular immune complexes and basilar membrane were red and black. Conclusion Masson- PASM dyeing can locate glomerular immune complexes and basilar membrane accurately and clearly. It is worthy of clinical application.
