Guests driving to the home of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel in a tony section of Los Angeles to dine with Hillary Clinton on Tuesday were met with several signs disparaging the health of the Democratic candidate for president.
The signs are of street art posted without permission underneath stop signs, parking notices and other official traffic signage that are made to appear like they are pointing the way to nearby hospitals.
The signs, from some conservative artists who want to remain anonymous, consist of the Clinton campaign logo (an ‘H’ with an arrow through it) and, underneath, the “ill” in her name is highlighted.
The artists are riffing off several recent reports — usually from conservative media — that suggest Clinton is dealing with some mysterious health issues. (She addressed the reports during a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday.)
About four dozen wealthy celebrities, including Tobey Maguire, Jennifer Aniston, Shonda Rhimes and Jamie Foxx, paid more than $33,000 apiece to attend the Timberlake-Biel fundraiser for Clinton on Tuesday.
After the luncheon, Timberlake tweeted photos of himself and Biel with Clinton, along with the caption, “Look WHO DID come over for lunch… Wow. #ImWithHer.”

Clinton arrived in Southern California on Monday and went from a fundraiser at the home of former NBA great Magic Johnson to another one at the home of entertainment mogul Haim Saban.
The artists who peppered the area with their fake signs hung some near buildings bearing Saban’s name at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and others at the Steven Spielberg Pediatric Research Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Tuesday’s luncheon was originally planned for the home of Leonardo DiCaprio, though he canceled over the weekend due to a scheduling conflict. Last week, the press linked the actor to a $3 billion Malaysian embezzlement scandal, but the Clinton campaign said the abrupt cancelation had nothing to do with those reports.
On Monday, a different street artist who goes by the name Sabo hung a large sign featuring DiCaprio and Clinton in clothes dryers with money swirling around them, the suggestion being that both of their charitable outlets are laundering money.
