Sebastian Stan is moving into the fast lane.

The actor known for playing the brainwashed assassin known as the Winter Soldier in Marvel’s Captain America movies has joined the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s NASCAR heist film Logan Lucky, EW has confirmed. According to the Hollywood Reporter, which broke the news, Stan will play a three-time racing champ staging a comeback after spending time away from the sport.

Stan, 34, is the latest addition to a starry cast that includes Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig, Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, Seth MacFarlane, Katherine Waterston, and Riley Keough.

Tentatively scheduled for release in fall 2017 and currently shooting in Atlanta, Logan Lucky centers on a would-be robbery at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The film represents Soderbergh’s return to big-screen directing after a three-year hiatus.

Stan most recently starred in Captain America: Civil War, and he’ll be back in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. His other upcoming film projects include the thriller We Have Always Lived in the Castle and the drama I’m Not Here.
