Simultaneous Determination of Baicalin,Baicalein and Wogonin in Naosaitong Pills by HPLC

Abstract: Objective To establish a method for the determination of baicalin,baicalein and wogonin in Naosaitong pills. Methods HPLC method was used. The chromatographic conditions as follow: Zorbax ODX（5 μm,4.6 mm×250 mm） column,gradient elusion with a mixture of methanol-0.2 % phosphoric acid solution,detection wavelength at 280 nm,column temperature being 30 ℃,flow rate at 1.0 m L·min-1. Results The linear ranges of baicalin,baicalein and wogonin were 0.201-1.206 μg（r=0.9997）,0.045-0.27 μg（r=0.9995）,and 0.03-0.18 μg（r=0.9993）,respectively. The average recoveries of the three components were 97.85 %（RSD=1.94 %）,98.78 %（ RSD=2.09%）,and 98.63 %（RSD=1.97 %）,respectively. Conclusion The method is simple,specific,accurate and reliable,and can be used for the quality control of the Naosaitong pills.
