#good postsJust some observations about Kim’s taste…
I am caught up on Better Call Saul and needed to draw the perfectly complimentary sweet angels who never did anything wrong and to whom nothing bad will ever happen.
I’m trying to get Max to eat the wet food I bought him a while back. Whenever I open one of the cans, he gets really excited and meows and meows until I set the bowl down for him… but then he just laps up all the gravy and leaves the food behind. I’m not sure if he fully understands that it’s food. I think he thinks wet food just a vehicle for him to get gravy into his body
Max executed a perfect blep today. I almost managed to get a picture but he started to sniff my phone as soon as I held it up, which sadly cancelled out the blep
I hope all my internet people on here are doing well. I’m doing okay! Way too busy and tired from work, but at least work is going well. Trying to find the energy and time for hobbies, almost found it, maybe
Max has been jumping up on my desk and standing in front of my monitor during work to bother me/remind me to take breaks. Coworkers agree that he’s beautiful
I almost forgot to mention: this woman came into the penguin enclosure with a KESTREL??? I said “oh my god is that an American Kestrel?” and she said “Yes! She was outside doing raptor education for the kids, but she doesn’t like to get rained on.”
#she was watching the penguins with what I will anthropomorphically project as skepticism
kestrel: i hate rained on!!
human: here is birds in water
kestrel: ......no.....
Not all construction work is equally enjoyable. For example, enlarging a drilled hole is boring, but fastening pieces of metal together is riveting.
this joke would get the exact same reaction in 1870 that it gets in 2021 and I love that about it
