Last year Google launched not one but two Nexus smartphone manufactured by LG and Huawei. While the partnership with LG isn’t new; the Mountain View company had first collaborated with a Chinese manufacturer for the time. Now in 2016, the company will again launch two Nexus smartphone, and both the devices will be manufactured by HTC, the maker of first ever Nexus smartphone.

If the rumors are to be believed, HTC will be manufacturing Nexus devices for another two years. Talking about the upcoming 2016 Nexus devices, the devices codenamed Sailfish and Marlin will be launched along with Android 7.0 Nougat. We already got the purported first look of the device from the different leaks along with specifications. Now Google has unknowingly teased the Nexus Sailfish, and it looks same as in the earlier leaked images.

The device comes with a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. While the earlier leaks suggested the device to be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset, but now it is almost confirmed that the device includes Snapdragon 821 SoC. The new chipset will offer 10% better performance than the Snapdragon 820 SoC. It includes 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. As

As seen with the earlier Nexus devices, we don’t expect MicroSD card slot, but there might be a higher storage variant. In the camera department, the Nexus Sailfish offers a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Stay tuned for more updates!
