Peter Sykes of Swanage said Mr Beare's postcard of Boscombe Crescent Gardens printed on July 11 shows a typical Edwardian summer scene with the photographer placed near the junction of The Crescent and Aylesbury Road. When Boscombe Crescent Gardens were first laid out they were regarded as the 'gateway' to Boscombe.
