The eerie footage shows a small black dot travelling across the Moon – before disappearing into space.
The clip, which was has been shared on YouTube, was captured by an amateur astrologist Paul and his UFO enthusiast pal Keith.
User SpaceImaging Keith, who uploaded the content told skeptics: “It's a UFO – unidentified flying object.
"What it is, I have no idea – but it's not normal for us.”
While many have been in awe of the footage, others have suggested the object could be a floating balloon – or a bug crawling across the lens.
The YouTube channel, which was setup just over a year ago states its mission is to find the truth – but this is the first video where they claim to capture a UFO.
SpaceImaging Keith, on the channel's profile, said: “NASA has done some brilliant things in its lifetime but there are serious questions raised whether they are telling us the whole truth about certain things.
“We have set up a growing network of telescopes and skycams all over the world to monitor space.”
This comes just after a new planet believed to be Earth-like has been shrouded in secrecy by scientists.
