It seems NBA Hall of Famer Artis Gilmore is less accurate with a golf club than he was on the court.
We’re told that while on the links on Long Island with Nancy Shevell’s ex-husband, Hempstead Councilman Bruce Blakeman, the 7-foot-2 former Chicago Bulls center launched his golf ball through the window of a nearby Mercedes.
The vehicle turned out to belong to Butch Yamali, owner of local institution Peter’s Clam Bar.
“Luckily, I have windshield insurance, so I’m covered,” Yamali told us. “But I think that Gilmore should stick to basketball.”
