The Los Angeles Clippers continued their bench remodeling Tuesday, adding veteran wing Alan Anderson to the mix on a veteran-minimum deal, as the Orange County Register reported.

Anderson will be 34 in October, so there's not a lot left for him in terms of production. But he's a quality defender and solid shooter (career 34.5 percent 3-point percentage) which the Clippers need more of on the bench. He had injury troubles in his ankle that robbed him of all but 13 games with the Wizards last season, but for a fill-in role on a title contender for the minimum, you could do worse.

The Clippers also added veterans Brandon Bass and Raymond Felton in the offseason but face serious questions about their future with both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin headed to free agency next summer, along with shooter J.J. Redick.

If Paul Pierce elects to return for another NBA season, the Clippers will have to waive a player to reach the max of 15. Pierce has not yet decided if he will return.
